International conferences usually include stuffy hotel ballrooms, long rows of tables with uncomfortable chairs, afternoon snack tables, and a buzz of shared energy between attendees. This weekend, my view of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators annual conference is quieter and a little more comfy in my home office. Despite having to go digital this year, I expect the presentations on bird training and education will be inspiring and energizing. Hopefully new ideas will be sparked in my brain so we can continue to improve the lives of our raptors at the Museum!
