Tidbit Sorting

A new intern looked at me like I was crazy as I painstakingly cut tiny tidbits of meat and carefully scraped them off the scissors in a row along the inside lip of a plastic container. "You really take the time to do that?" Well, of course!

That happened years ago during one of my internships. But it is still a skill that I utilize daily while preparing training treats for Aldo the American Kestrel.

The treats need to be tiny so Aldo can swallow them quickly during a training session. Lining them along the top of the container makes them easily accessible so I can deliver them quickly.
