Progress

Progress can be measured in many different ways. Recently with owl training, I can literally measure progress in inches. Otto the Great Horned Owl is fairly confident stepping on my glove and our next goal is for him to be comfortable while we move around. The first time I moved my glove one inch, he felt unstable and hopped off to a solid perch. But this week, he hardly seemed to notice when the glove moved an inch or two!
