I didn't realize how much I missed a group of strangers laughing together when a young audience member guesses ridiculously that a chicken egg could hold 50 pounds without cracking. Or the collective gasp when they see that he was right.
We haven't been able to gather in person for a raptor program this year, but we are finding new ways to connect. Aldo the American Kestrel starred in a virtual raptor program earlier this week where families could meet the charismatic bird and learn about falcon conservation from the comfort of their own homes.
