I never know how long it will take, but the birds always come around eventually. Last week I wrote about Carson the Red-tailed Hawk giving me the cold shoulder after her routine beak trimming. The day after I wrote that, she took a risk and came outside with me. This time, the only surprise awaiting her was a perch in the sun and a tasty rat to enjoy.
